Jewellery Care

LoopsNnook uses materials that are durable and easy to care for. However, as with any product, the life span of your jewellery will depend on the care you give it. Always store your jewellery in the pouch or box provided to prevent them from being scratched or damaged by objects or other jewellery. Avoid contact with make-up, creams, perfume, showers and sweat. Never wear sterling silver jewellery when you go swimming or when you are at the sauna.

Stainless Steel
LoopsNnook loves using stainless steel for her jewellery because of its clean and modern appearance. Plus, stainless steel is very durable and do not chip, crack or tarnish easily.

To restore its shine, simply clean it with a microfiber cloth. To get rid of stains, mix a few drops of vinegar and olive oil onto a damp cloth and wipe gently.

925 Sterling Silver
Sterling Silver, like other precious metals can oxidize with time. Air exposure, heat and chemicals can escalate the oxidation process.

Always store your jewellery in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, preferably in a box or pouch. It is best to remove jewellery when you're doing household chores, exercising or showering.

It is always handy to keep a silver polishing cloth at home to give your sterling silver jewellery a new shine.

Tassel
LoopsNnook uses 100% cotton for most of her tassel earrings as it is easy to maintain them. Like your hair, tassels get messy easily. However it is equally easy to tidy them. Simply comb the tassels gently with a hair brush or lightly dampen them with water and leave them to air dry. You may also blow dry them on low heat with a hair dryer.

When traveling, wrap the tassels tightly in cling wrap before putting them in a pouch.

Textile
You may spot clean your textile jewellery only if you absolutely need to. This is to ensure the longevity of your jewellery and to prevent discolouration. Use only mild soap and a gentle toothbrush. Brush gently with circular motions. Squeeze out excess water using a towel and allow it to dry naturally.
